Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during a Life Coaching session?
Life Coaching sessions can last between 30 minutes to an hour and can be conducted face to face, over the phone, over email or through social media platforms such as Skype or Zoom.
In your session, I will look to understand what it is you are looking to get out of life and to understand your current circumstances as well as your challenges to achieving your objectives.
My aim is to see you reach your full potential in life, and I look to work closely with you to enable you to achieve your objectives.

Is there a free introductory session to see if Life Coaching is for me?
Yes, I offer a brief telephonic introductory session absolutely free! This session allows you to understand what I have to offer and for me to get an overview of your life coaching goals and requirements.

Do I need Life Coaching or Counselling?
Counselling is very much a talking therapy where a client can discuss their concerns and problems.
Counsellors are therapists. They are trained to listen by placing themselves in the shoes of their clients, and can help with various mental health problems including; depression, borderline personality disorder (BPD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), drug misuse, to name a few.
Counsellors generally tend to work with where the client is now and work backwards focusing on the present as well as the clients past,

Life Coaches are not therapists. Their clients do not need a medical or therapeutic programme to assist them. What they want is someone to help them to achieve their goals. The Life Coach wants the client to solve their problems and challenges by Taking Action. Life Coaching often involves setting targets to achieve objectives. Life Coaches generally tend to focus on the present moving to the future and tend to spend most of their energy on these two areas.
